The hat is a Cow Lot (Atwood) 5X; hare and wool. It feels very nice to the touch and wears well on the head. The hat feels strong and substantial. I went with a 3" brim, half taco, flat front, Gus crown. The hat has a definite "presence," while at the same time a "modest" affect; the exact look I wanted. I am very happy with this hat!

When I ordered this hat the description said Atwood felt. Receiving the hat it had no indication that it was an Atwood hat. The name in the description changed afterwards from Atwood to Cowlot felt and the price increased from $260 to $295. The crown was shaped correctly but the brim was not what I wanted. I had specific instructions on what I wanted and the front was off by more than 2 inches and the sides were completely off even after sending photos of what I wanted. In the instructions I stated that I wanted a picture of the hat before shipping. I never got that photo. I will not be ordering from cowlot again. Hat shaped by Cody C.
